How it works

Golf is the setting. Good people are the point.

No public member directory, ratings or popularity contest. The useful bits stay inside the approved community.

01

Say you're looking for a game

At home or away with work, share where you'll be, when you're free and what sort of round you're after.

02

See who you're playing with

Members show their role, company, location and what they hope to get from the round. No mystery fourballs.

03

Host or join

Offer someone a place, request to join a round and keep track of the good people you've played with.

Why TGA exists

Four hours tells you plenty about someone.

TGA was created for one simple reason: to bring good people in tech together through golf.

You learn a lot about someone over 18 holes. Sometimes by how they “find” their ball. Mostly because four hours on a golf course tells you far more than a coffee ever will.

You might be at a loose end and fancy a game. You might be over from the US and want to meet people in cloud infrastructure. Set the intention at the start and find people who are up for the same thing.

Ireland first

Starting in Ireland, built for wherever work takes you.

Density matters. We want members to find a good game when they open TGA, so the first cohort is focused on Ireland before we open new cities.

Outside Ireland? Apply and tell us your city. That will help us decide where TGA opens next.

Local depth

Useful from the first round.

Global intent

Ready when work takes you away.

Tech recruitment · Workforce software

I have always found you can tell what someone is like by playing golf with them. TGA is a way to turn that into a genuine community for people in tech—without making every round feel like a networking event.
